Call for Applications – 2013 ICT Teacher Scholarships
There are twelve scholarships available for Session 3, 2013 intake, including two dedicated scholarships for students teaching in rural/isolated and/or low SES communities. All scholarships are for a total of $3920 which will be used to pay 25% of the total fees for the Masters of ICT in Education.
Australian, Canadian and New Zealand teachers who meet the course admission requirements can apply for the Scholarships.
Closing date for scholarships is the same as the application closing date.
Applicants are required to submit an application which addresses the selection criteria in accordance with Scholarship Application Guidelines. The combined word count for Sections C to Gand D should not exceed 1000 words. Your scholarship application should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org, mailed with your course application, or faxed to itmasters at 03 9515 3305.
There is no prescribed application form – you are required to submit a typewritten application incorporating the information as prescribed below.

Briefly outline your developmental goals with respect to ICT in Education and how the course will help you achieve these goals.
Section D – Goals and Motivation
Briefly outline which students will benefit from your enrolment in the course and in what ways.
Section E – Benefits to the school or the wider education community
Briefly outline the ways in which you will apply your learning from the course in a way which will result in benefits beyond your own classrooms.
Section F – Potential to succeed
Provide a summary of evidence of your likelihood of success in the course (ensure that any documentary evidence of your potential to success such as academic transcripts have been attached).
Section G – Rural/isolated or Low SES eligibility
If you believe that you are eligible for a Rural/isolated or Low SES scholarship provide information about the Socio Economic makeup of your school and/or the rural area in which it is situated.
Submission of Application
Scholarships can only be awarded to applicants who have been offered a position in the Masters. People applying for a scholarship must also submit an application to undertake the course.
