ACEC 2010: Digital Diversity
Tuesday 6th- Friday 9th April, 2010
CSU and IT Masters are proud to be sponsoring the Australian Computers in Education Conference 2010 (ACEC2010), which is the biennial conference of the Australian Council for Computers in Education (ACCE). For the first time since 2000 the ACEC conference will be held in Melbourne, and is being hosted by ICT in Education Victoria (ICTEV).
CSU and IT Masters are running a booth at the conference, where we’ll be giving away highly sort-after copies of the Adobe Classroom in a Book manuals. Lecturers, course designers and other staff will also be on hand to discuss CSU’s approach to diversifying ICT education in Australia, and answer any questions you may have about our courses or scholarship programs.
The conference’s theme - ACEC2010: Digital Diversity - addresses the more interactive and creative approaches to ICT in education, and offers pathways to adaptability by addressing the significant diversity of styles of learning and thinking.

Congratulations to the inaugural graduates of our Adobe course
Our first students from the Graduate Certificate in ICT Education (Adobe Specialisation), will be graduating this month. Feedback from this course and its lecturer (Marco Cattaneo) has been exceptional; here are just a few of the positive things our students have had to say:
“As a busy teacher, the ability to produce high quality resources, material, advertising for events with Indesign, Illustrator, Acrobat and Publisher, have really made a positive impact on my school.” –Tameika, TAS
“Marco is the best teacher I have ever encountered. His mini movies showed how to achieve the content, were very informative and helped those who learn best by seeing and then doing.” –Lois, NSW
“I found both subjects – ITI 568 and ITI 569 to be an amazing personal learning journey... I put this down to the “hands on” approach of Marco Cattaneo and the support I received from him with
regard to preparation and fine tuning of my tasks.” –Lesley, VIC
